I want to go to this college for recording arts and also get a degree in the entertainment business. I was wondering if anyone has any tips about what I should do to prepare to go in terms of learning the lingo of the entertainment business, music studio terms, or anything important like that to really get the edge on those who I’ll be in school with. Also where can I start learning about those things…in other words where do I get the material to learn about what you recommend.

I’ve always loved the sound of the violin and have been curious about learning to play it, especially in the style you hear in Irish music. That looks very difficult. So just wondering I guess if a relatively old dog could learn new tricks or if this is one of those things you have to learn in your fomative years.
Any example of people who have learned to play only later in life would be inspirational!

I’ve been playing acoustic for a while and decided to play electric to. I had lessons for 4 months and played for about 7 months. I’m pretty good any songs that have a lot of guitar and seem easy. Also I want one that doesn’t have chords (like with Tabliture are something) I already know were to get it. Any ideas?
