I really want to learn how to play, it looks like so much fun. I already basically know how to read music, (I’ve played piano for like, 3 years.)
So how hard do you reckon it will be for me to learn?
Also, do you have an idea as to how much a new/used one would cost?

I’m trying to write a short musical just to get the experience. I’ve listened to many different show recordings and noticed that the music usually doesn’t follow the melody. (I’d prefer to learn Sondheim’s style.)

Does anyone have any hints on how to write music for a musical, or should I just keep experimenting? Thanks!
