how much does a guitar usually cost and is it hard to learn how to play on it? ?

A new electric guitar will cost $200-$thousands
A new acoustic will cost $100-$thousands
I played piano for 6 years before I started playing the guitar. The guitar is actually like 4 times harder than the piano. The hardest part about the guitar is figuring out the theory. Guitar theory is also like 10 times harder than piano theory.

For most people the guitar is very easy to learn, and since you have 7 yrs of piano it should be a breeze.
The basics will take you a few weeks and will use some muscles etc. that you haven’t used before.
A decent student guitar can be found for around $100 – $150.
If you want an electric you need to add another $100 for a starter amp.

It could start from 99 bucks and just go up after that, all depends how much you want spend.
Now as hard to play, it just gonna depend on you how serious you are about. But I think you should go for it, like you said you already know music.

Well, I’ve been looking for a guitar as well. I’ve really wanted to play it for some time now. I too played an instrument, the drums, for a few years. I know the guitar is probably one of the most complex things to learn how to play. And as of the cost, I see a lot of people are saying acoustics price around 100 to about anything. But, during the holiday, you can get a cheap guitar from anywhere around 60 to any price really. But they are not name brand guitars, at least I don’t think so.
