Reality * His Third Account asked:
It’s like I’m musically stunted when trying to learn an instrument, but am great at picking which music is good or not and describing why. I even have a somewhat popular online radio station.
What happened to me where I’m such a Guitar Zero?

ability and appreciation have never been in perfect correlation.
For instance, I love Tony Jaa’s ability to jump up and kick objects suspended 9 feet into the air… but there’s no way on earth I’d be able to pull that off.

I am the EXACT same way! I can’t do anything artistic, but I have good taste in music selection.

I’m exactly like you. I know good music when I hear it but there is no way that I can possibly replicate/make a rendition of it. It’s quite frustrating actually. But then again, to each his own.
