Is it hard to learn to play the guitar?

If i really applied myself could i learn how to play a song as simple as Hey there delilah in about 2 months?
thats just an example, i would like to learn to play rock and pop music on it

If it was easy, everyone would be a guitarist. It will probably take you a month just to build up callouses on your fingers. If you applied yourself, and did it properly, you might be able to play your song decently in 2 months.

It’s very difficult, but if you REALLY applied yourself, you might get “Smoke on the Water” in a couple months…Good luck!

Yes..some people give up playing & practicing in days & some keep trying for years!!..Delilah is an easy song but u have to sing it too if u have a good voice..u need to learn the guitar baisics to learn playing this song ..
