    You can also try
You cam just look up your favourite bands and they’ll have the chords to their songs.
    Hope I have helped!

Well, first, what makes a song impressive is the entire song. Every instrument contributes. If you want to be impressive on guitar alone, you might need to learn scales to be able to play solos or complex rhythms (unless you can learn quickly by ear). My advise – honestly – as a guitarist, vocalist, and orchestrator/producer is to first learn the 5 step note structure of the guitar’s frets and strings. Then once you understand where certain notes are, start writing your own guitar rhythms. It’s just like anything else… You start with the basics, and build from there. Trust me, people will be much more impressed if you play them a well executed piece of your own (even a very simple one) than a cover – because with a few exceptions, covers are never as impressive as the original artists’ version.

As far as new guitar music goes, what’s currently on the radio or otherwise known to be popular is a mix of very complicated guitar to very simple and common 3 note rhythms we’re all to familiar with from the 90’s grunge/alternative phase. One thing I will say for sure though, is that no dedicated musician has much respect for a guitarist that can “only” play 2 or 3 note music structures. You don’t really need lessons to be a good guitarist, just a solid dedication and patients to learn the basics first
