How long does it going to take me to learn everything about guitar?

Me T asked:

i been taking lesson for 2 months now and i want to get ahead faster can i learn it online like all the chords and stuff do u think it a good idea?

    well sure it’s fine. you just have to really want to do it and apply yourself. different people have different learning rates, though. practice makes perfect too.
