yep. you get a better sense of rhythm and have more experience.

Well you will have a musical background, know how to read music, etc. But playing piano will not help you that much, since guitar requires you to learn a whole new way to form notes and chords, you will have to build callouses on your fingertips, and muscle dexterity in your hands. It is SO worth learning though!

I played flute for about 8 years and was the 3rd best in the state of oklahoma!! I also got bored with it and started learning the piano….I took Guitar lessons later on…Guitar, Flute, Piano, Trombone, and The Bells believe it or not…Use the same exact notes!!! I know because I’ve played them all…So to answer your question…Yes It would be alot easier to play guitar or piano (vice versa) because the notes are the same!!
